Halloween
Sweets, treats,
out on the street
Trick or Treating
to the beat.
Party kids, close your eyes
wait for a big surprise,
turn around on the floor,
who's that at the door?
Scary ghosts and witches cats
chasing round, a million bats
run outside to feast your eyes
on all the pumpkins in the sky.

HhHalloweenalloween.
Eye of lizard, toe of frog,
Tail of rat and bark of dog.
Sneeze of chicken, cough of bat,
Lick of donkey, smell of cat.
Stir it up and mix it well
To make a magic monster spell.
Spider 's legs, finely chopped,
Smelly Peas, freshly popped.
Web of spider, slime of toad,
Squished Hedgehog, found on road.

Halloween Night
In the deepest, darkest,
Most dreary places,
You are sure to find,
Witches and Hags of every kind!
In cavern and tavern,
Wizards you'll see.
Plotting the future,
of what might come to be!
In forest and woods,
Biding their time,
Were-wolves and vampires,
Commit all their crimes!
On Halloween night,
The one day of the year,
Watch out for these ghouls,
They don't bring any cheer!

The Witches
Who cackles and shrieks
Like Black Hatted Freaks?
It's the Witches.
Who puts frogs who've been shot
in a black cauldron pot?
It's the Witches.
Who gives people scares
as they climb up the stairs?
It the Witches.
But as we know witches
as green-warted titches,
are you sure that you know
Why you're scared of them so?
Once the witches would cure
Folk would come to their door,
Some men were afraid,
So a plan they made
To burn witches galore
So we're scared evermore.
So this Halloween,
When you're ready to scream,
Think of women who cared
And don't get so scared.
Its The Witches!

Halloween
It was Halloween night
and the air was cool,
The kids were all up
'cause they had no school
There were witches and goblins
and other scary things,
all running round with their
freaky grins.
Hopping house to house
withtheir bags open wide,
saying scary poems
with their heads up high
to the people at the door
who with wonder in their eyes
could not believe all the scary guys.
And they ran from the house back
to their own place,
with all the yummy gummies
and delicious cakes.

Happy Halloween
Bony skeletons and wicked witches
Hide behind thorny ditches
If you are out, in the dead of night
Be prepared for a dreaful fright
Ghosts and Vampires make
a scary sight
As they prance around
in the moonlight
Halloween, it is almost here
It's my favourite time of year.

BEWARE!
Halloween is all around,
Hear every single scary sound!
Beware of nitchy Witch,
She has an awful itch.
Her cackle's so shrill,
It makes you feel ill.
And Grey Ghost,
He likes to boast.
Don't take a chance,
He likes to dance.
Bats and Cobwebs,
Fill the air.
Of Halloween...
BEWARE!

Witches
Witches big, witches small,
Witches short, witches tall,
Witches fat, witches thin,
Wtiches that have an awful grin.
Witches smooth, witches hairy,
Witches friendly, witches scary,
Witches green, witches white,
Witches that fly all through the night.

Pumpkin
A long, long time ago,
When the land was full of snow,
A man grew a pumpkin so, so big,
To get to the roots you had to dig & dig,
Soon it got as big as a house,
And everyone pulled, even a mouse,
We pulled all night & we pulled all day,
A dog joined in, though he was a stray,
On Halloween we pulled it out,
Mum made cake & even stout,
We didn't even go trick or treating,
Because we were full
from
Eating & Eating!

A Magic Monster Spell
Halloween Eve, it's time to scare
Must make my spell, if I dare.
Eye of newt, smell of cat
Bark of dog and tail of rat.
Puss of pimple, freshly squeezed
Phlegm of chest freshly wheezed.
A witches cauldron on the fire
Bubbling as the flames go higher
Stir it up and mix it well
To make a magic Monster spell.
Soon the Monster will be free
To terrorise all he sees.

Halloween
I was in the hall on Halloween night,
When then I got an awful fright,
"You are the one", they said to me,
That we will mix tonight.
They took me to the boiling cauldren,
And then they threw me in,
With old Miss Tauldren,
It was yellow, green, blue and thin.
Around the pot they danced and sang,
The brew it bubbled and boiled,
The witches uttered a magic spell,
The words I cannot tell.
The brew it got so very hot,
That I jumped out of the witches pot.
Away I went on the witches broom,
And soon was back in my bedroom.

Halloween
I bought a pumpkin in the shop,
It was so heavy , got nearly dropped
I brought for all to see but
my brother just laughed at me
I got a knife and cut out eye's
I looked around and to my surprise
My brother in a Halloween disguise
The mouth and nose was next to go
I put the candle in and what a glow
We placed it on the window for show
It was the best on our street
We had such fun all through the night
My brother was an awful sight
He gave me an awful fright

Midnight Stew.
Ribbit, Ribbit,
Here froggy, here froggy,
time for midnight stew,
made for you
and BennyBat
andMinny Cat
and Freddy Rat
Steaming stew as midnight strikes
will warm my weary bones tonight,
and fill me up to the very brim.
So I don't have to eat
any kids from Scoil Eoin
this Halloween.

Halloween
The wind howled and said
it's getting late.
Three little pumpkins sat by
a cemetry gate.
The first one said
What will we do,
the second one said
the witches are coming
Boo Ho Ho!
The third one said
we have problem.
O my god Look at that Goblin,
The spirits, witches and goblies too
were just stirring up their latest
The witches said are you ready to die
The three little pumpkins started
to cry.
As the witches lifted their
pot of
The wind caught it and
away it flew.
So when the witches were out of sight,
the wind blew their candrel
to say good night.
The pumpkins smiled
and blew out their light.

The Night The Children Got A Fright
Halloween's a scary night,
The night that children get a fright.
The scary witches stare
looking at the cold moon bare.
dracula's skin, deathly pale,
its gaze makes bread turn stale.
O Halloween , a scary night.
The night the children get a fright.
by Eabha.
Halloween.
Halloween, Halloween
I have the spokiest mask
you've ever seen.
We go around saying
"Trick or treat, trick or treat
we want something nice to eat"
knocking on doors
Ringing bells.
Lots of sweets
that the shop sells.

Halloween
Spooky season to the fore,
Ghosts appearing through the door,
Crying, screaming run like hell,
Bloody vampires at the bell.
Witches, bats fil the sky,
Watch the fireworks as they fly,
Trick or treat big or small,
Boys or girls collect them all.
Halloween I can hardly wait,
Holidays from school and up till late,
Devils appear with tongues of fire
Skeletons, bats, ghosts fly higher.
Bairin breac, oh what a treat!
Ring, pea, rag or stick
leave the rest for mam to eat,
Nuts, apples games galore!
Pumpkins lighting at the door.

Halloween
I knew a boy,
Called Timm Smith.
He fell down,
A bottomless pit!
How he got there,
I don't know,
But it could be something to do,
With the Witches Show!
The Witches show,
as you may not know,
are a bunch of witches,
who bury children in their homes,
know as ditches.
So on Halloween,
If you hear a boy scream,
It's the sould of Timmy Smith,
Trying to climb up,
The bottomless pit!

The witch and the monster
Witches have brooms, but they
don't leave them in their rooms.
Witches are fun but they don't run
Witches do spells and their cauldren smells.
They have a black cat with a
black hat.
Their eyes are green just
like a machine.
They have green skin and
some aren't that thin.
Witches fly and they can see
the sky.
I thought I say a monster
under my bed.
I'm afraid this monster will
hit me on the head.
I said I would'nt go to bed
for a week
and then I
promised not to peek.
I thought I heard something
creeping around and making
a noise on the ground.
All monsters are weird and
some wear a beard.
Some are white and have green
eyes they would give you
a scary surprise.

Halloween
Wtiches on broomsticks
Children dressed up
Fathers in the pub
While mothers meet up
Witches on broomstick
Flying away
Laughing and cackling
Every step of the way
Children dressed up
Looking for sweets
Knocking on doors
And saying "trick or treat"
Bonfires a light
All through the night
Not a cat to be seen
Or a witch in sight
Goblins and ghosts are nowhere
to be seen
But I still believe
It's Halloween

Halloween
Witches with their cauldrons making kid stew
Throwing bats and other
things too.
Children screaming and
scaring everywhere
Doing things they should
not dare.
Ghosts and vampires up and down
scaring children
Trick or treating in the town
Children are too scared
to come out
Because ghosts are all about.

Halloween is ...
Spooking and scary,
With monsters so hairy,
Funny and silly,
People dressed up.
A spooky night for all of us,
A night I really love,
A treat for us and witches,
The best night of all.
The best time of year,
And when it comes we all cheer,
Brilliant fun,
The best.

Halloween
Wtiches, ghouls and
smelly schools
All the things I hate.
Bats and hats, mice and rats,
For Halloween night
You'll have to wait.
Sweets and treats
And smelly fetts,
All the things I love.
Cloaks and daggers,
All the blackguards,
Dressed in the colour dubh.

Super Scary Halloween
Super scary Hallowen,
What will happen next?
Every year it comes to us,
Even though it reeks.
Three witches come to my house,
Seven vampires visit too,
That's why I am so scared
I think every thing is true.
Colourful fireworks in the sky
Come back here come back here
I here the witches cry
O my god its just a dream
Help someone's after me.
Guess what it was an ugly witch
She wanted to have some fun
All I said to that ugly witch was
"Ammmmmmm gotta run!"

Halloween
Halloween at last is here
I've been waiting for a year
Spiders, witches and their cats
Vampires changing into bats
Trick or treating oh what fun
Bags of sweets for everyone
Dressing up to scare my friends
Oh I hope it never ends
Pumpkins with their lit up faces
You find them in
the strangest places
Haunted houses with bloody nails
Children telling spooky tales
October 31st is coming soon
We're hoping for a full moon
But yet I think it's rather weird
When Halloween just disappears!!

Halloween
Halloween is a scary night
We all look at spooking sights,
Ancient Zombies haunt my bed
Now I have them in my head.
Witches on their brooms so high
Every Zombie tries to fly
Vampires scaring children,
Ghosts trying to catch his stray.
Bats flying in the sky
Falling down to spook and scare
Those young trick or treaters
way down there.
Halloween is now over
Midnights gone
Now we have to wait a year
Till Halloween comes again.

Halloween
Wtiches and vampires all over town,
Fire crackers lighting the dark sky,
Pumpkins at doorsteps,
With big glowing lights,
Lighting the way for trickier treaters delight.
Families all cosy inside,
Playing with apples hanging
from the sky,
With jokes and laughs
coming from inside.
Even though in the dark of night,
They don't know what is
happening
in the sky,
The fireworks may go
bang, bang, bang,
Until one Halloween night when there was one big bang and
all the people were gone.

Halloween thrills & spills
Wtiches cackles, children's giggles
The Halloween spirit is
arriving in squiggles
Poison berries, chocolate terrys
Costume and paint makes
some children faint
Zombies in paper are made with timbers
Cauldrons full to the brim with limbers
Frogs legs, rats ears, rabbits eyes
Which are boiled until it hits the skies.
Beware all you people out
on Halloween night
Because we will not sleep if
we get a fright!!!

Halloween
Late at night when
the moon is bright.
And the air is soft and still,
Witches creek and fairies peek
that is when they roam atwill.
The children trick or treat
Until they fall asleep
Oh it's Halloween,
the witches are mean
They're zooming around,
They won't touch the groun.
When the children are around.
